A Printed Game Controller Has Printed Buttons and Wires, but Needs Finger Sleeves

Kazutaka Kurihara's controller prints conductive touch buttons and wiring into one 3D-printed plate. Players wear conductive finger sleeves. AI can change the layout and generate print files, including versions with 16–18 buttons.

Modifying an Arcade Stick by the River: The Work Goes Smoothly, but His Fly Is Open

Shigemichi Enoshima made another attempt at modifying an arcade fight stick to perform special moves more reliably in Street Fighter 6.

He bought a used controller and replacement joystick parts, then chose a riverbank for the project. Despite launching a tiny retaining clip into the grass, he found it again and made good progress. In the middle of the work, he noticed that his trouser fly had been open for an unknown amount of time, possibly since shopping in Akihabara.

The modification ultimately worked, making special moves much easier to perform.

ファニトロちゃん:説明

He could fine-tune when the joystick registers an input, but couldn't tell how long his own fly had been open.
